Introduction

SSC-CGL stands for “Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level” Examination. It is conducted for recruiting staff to different posts in various departments, ministries and government organizations of India. The examination was started in the year 1975. There are around 1.5 million test takers of SSC-CGL annually. The knowledge and skills that are tested in the exam include the general knowledge of the candidate, logical reasoning abilities, English proficiency and Quantitative Aptitude

Presently, the “Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level” Examination is one of the most famous and important exams for the people who freshly graduate in India. The graduates, who want to prepare for the SSC CGL 2018, would have lots of questions in their mind. The test can be taken in English or Hindi language. The purpose of this test is to let the candidate secure job in the government institutes of India. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree. The SSC CGL notification Calendar has officially been announced by the SSC CGL Recruitment board for further SSC CGL posts. The notification for Staff Selection Commission CGL is supposed to be out on 21st April, 2018. Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 and Tier-4 are the four phases that each candidate has to clear in order to pass. The last date to apply for the exam is 25-May-2018. SSC has given the notification about the upper age limit and the minimum age limit to be 30 years and 20 years respectively.
